Soorarai Pottru is a motivational drama movie inspired by the book, Simply Fly. It tells the story of Nedumaaran Rajangam,fondly known as Maara, by his friends. Maara tries to book a flight to go home when his father is on the deathbed but reaches late home since the flights are expensive.

He envisions starting an airline for the poor who can take flights at considerably cheaper rates. The struggles he had to go through to do something for the poor is the journey that takes the movie further.

Darbar (2020)

A Rajnikanth movie cannot be left out when we are talking about Tamil cinema. Darbar is a movie that starts with a chase between a cop and a drug dealer and slowly leads the cop to a bigger problem. Rajnikanth plays the top cop who is way ahead of the rules and does what is right without worrying about the rule-book.

An Indian NASA scientist discovers that Mars has a habitable environment for tree plantation and earns a lot of appreciation from his colleagues. He returns to India to celebrate the victory for a month.However, he realizes that the farmers in his village need help to survive a drought-like situation created due to the lack of water. He has to fight the odds and help them win and get back on their feet again.
