Lowell Farms: A Cannabis Cafe

There are tons of cannabis farms and distributors out there but none that are making strides like Lowell Farms. Lowell Farms shot to fame after their Coachella cannabis flower crown in 2017 and they have not slowed down since. Their latest venture, Lowell Farms Cannabis Cafe, is set to open in September of 2019.

The First Ever Cannabis Café

The first ever cannabis café in the United States is set to open on September 24th, 2019 in West Hollywood and it is one of a kind. The café met with some issues to start as in the state of California, although it is legal to sell and use cannabis on a state level, you still cannot have a cannabis retail location inside a restaurant. Lowell met the challenge head on and created an innovative café that sells both cannabis products and world class food.

The café is set up with both a dining room that is served by the kitchen and a cannabis lounge that is meant for the consumption of cannabis and cannabis products. The catch, the kitchen separates the two and though both are under the same roof, they are considered to be two separate businesses that are joined by the kitchen that can serve both the dining room and the lounge. The kitchen is led by the famous chef, Andrea Drummer and features foods like a gourmet fried chicken sandwich that comes with a kale and Brussel sprout slaw and heirloom tomatoes as well as a sample board with comfort snacks like cookies and milk ice cream bar, beignets, and so much more.
