We have a new HP Envy 4520 printer and it is working great. Then all of a sudden the printer does not work anymore. There could be several reasons for these malfunctions. In order to troubleshoot the printer, the HP Envy 4520 driver is one thing that we need to look at. We need to make sure that the driver is up to date and that is not the problem. It is very easy to find out if the driver is up to date. We would have to go into the computer settings and make sure that the driver is up to date. Once we find the printer that we are using we need to right-click on it and then click properties. There we will find a list of all the drivers that the printer is using in order to function correctly. We can select the drivers that are out of date and then click update to that driver.

When we want to update the drivers they can be found on the HP website. All we need to do is find the printer that we currently have. In this case, it is the HP Envy 4520 and we would need to find the drivers for that printer. Most of the time all of the drivers that are needed will be found in a package. We need to download that package and then install the drivers in that package. This makes it very convenient for us as it contains all of the drivers that we need. After all of the drivers are updated the printer should work as it is supposed to.

Drivers are very important when it comes to the functions of a printer. They do need to be updated as time goes on. Most of us don’t realize that the drivers need to be updated until the printer stops working. When the printer stops working that tells us that there is something wrong with the printer. Most of the times it is the drivers that are outdated and need to be updated. HP does make it easy for us to update the drivers as the drivers that are needed do come in a package. Since the drivers do come in a package we don’t have to try to figure out which of the drivers need to be updated. We can just download the entire package and all the drivers that need to be updated will be updated.

Most of us do not have a lot of time and do not wish to update the drivers manually. Most of us also do not know when to update drivers and only do when there is a problem. There is software available that updates the drivers automatically. This software checks the HP Envy 4520 driver and it will be able to tell if the software needs to be updated. If the driver does need to be updated it will do so automatically without us even having to think about it. Using software like this will keep the drivers up to date and we won’t even have to think about it. The printer will continue to run smoothly as the driver will always be up to date. This software does run in the background and it does not disrupt what we are doing on the computer. We do not need to do anything as the software does it all for us.

Most of us do use printers quite a bit. In ensuring that the printer runs smoothly the drivers have got to work with the printer. If the drivers do not work with the printer most likely they are out of date and do need to be updated. This is something that everyone has to keep in mind that owns a printer.
